All twelve acquired supermarkets are located in the Netherlands.
Boni acquired 8 supermarkets in total; Five PLUS branded stores (Groot-Ammers, Ravenstein, Ruurlo, Terborg and Wehl) and three Coop branded stores (Harmelen, Hollandscheveld and Stolwijk). Albert Heijn acquired two PLUS branded stores (Rolde and Wekerom). Poiesz and Boon’s Markt both acquired a single Coop supermarket in Vlieland and Uddel respectively.
“The purchase of 8 new stores will give our company a large boost. By expanding Boni’s service area, we offer even more consumers the opportunity to buy high quality groceries at affordable prices. We look forward to achieving this together with our new colleagues.”
