Leasing company Hiltermann Lease Groep is acquiring Dealer Totaal Concept (DTC). The acquisition gives both organisations an opportunity to grow. Founders Nieko van Es and Raymond Alflen and the directors Maaike Heintz and Edwin te Winkel will remain with the company.

Leasing company Hiltermann Lease Groep is acquiring Dealer Totaal Concept (DTC). The acquisition gives both organisations an opportunity to grow. Founders Nieko van Es and Raymond Alflen and the directors Maaike Heintz and Edwin te Winkel will remain with the company.

With the acquisition of DTC, Hiltermann Lease Groep wants to further profile itself as the preferred partner for universal car companies in the Netherlands by offering an even broader package of financial services.

“DTC is a strong player in the car dealer channel, a channel in which we are also active. This acquisition enables us to broaden our offering to our partners even further.” says Michel Akerboom, CEO of Hiltermann Lease Groep. The range of services will be expanded to include loans, financing and insurance for private individuals and the business market.

The management of DTC will stay on and continue its current strategy. “With Hiltermann as a strategic partner, we are expanding our product range to include operational and private leasing for our dealers,” says Nieko van Es, “and we will continue to operate as an intermediary so that we can always offer our customers the best deal.

Hiltermann Lease Groep will focus primarily on fleets and equipment through its own channel and will continue to serve independent intermediaries unchanged. “Transferring our dealer channel to DTC will enable us to focus even more on these core activities”, says Akerboom, “and this will also rule out any possible channel conflicts”.
